An anonymous representative for the artist, whose identity remains unknown, told Las Vegas’ News 3 that the sculpture, titled "Crooked and Obscene," weighs 6,000 pounds and is made from foam and rebar.

MAGA influencers were quick to condemn the sculpture on social media, calling it in poor taste. @MJTruthUltra, a Trump supporter with 369,000 followers, called it an example of "TDS" (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "These people are despicable ..."

The Wrap reported that the effigy will tour the U.S. as part of the "Crooked and Obscene Tour." According to the unnamed tour organizers, the decision to depict Trump nude was "intentional," aiming to make a statement about transparency, vulnerability, and the public personas of political figures. They hope to spark reflection on the "transparency—or lack thereof—in politics" and encourage people to critically evaluate political influence.

Another prominent conservative voice, @dom_lucre, with 1.5 million followers, called the sculpture a reflection of leftist political tactics. He wrote on X: "Liberals placed a 43-foot naked statue of President Donald Trump near Kamala Harris's Las Vegas rally. This is the left." His video of the sculpture received over 10.4 million views by Tuesday morning.

MAGA influencer @ArmedPatriot45 argued that the statue represents a double standard in American politics, where he feels the left can criticize the right without repercussions. He wrote, "Behold, a 43-foot-tall nude Trump statue was put up on Interstate 15, near Las Vegas, just before Kamala Harris was set to hold a rally there! On Monday, the Nevada Republican Party condemned the statue, calling it "deplorable." They stated, "While families drive through Las Vegas, they are forced to view this offensive marionette, designed intentionally for shock value rather than meaningful dialogue."

Their statement continued, "President Trump and Republicans are focused on delivering results that matter—reducing inflation, securing our borders, creating jobs, and ensuring a brighter future for all Americans. Newsweek reached out to the Federal Highway Administration on Tuesday to inquire whether the artist received permission for the statue.

While the creators of "Crooked and Obscene" remain anonymous and there’s no evidence linking the sculpture to the Democratic Party, many conservative figures have connected this artwork to the fiery rhetoric from Democrats, particularly following two failed assassination attempts on Trump this year.
