Family lists 6 alarming signs Trump is 'in decline physically and cognitively'

Donald Trump's niece, Mary Trump, recently raised serious concerns about the former president’s health, suggesting that there is "plenty of evidence" he is experiencing both physical and cognitive decline. In an interview with progressive host Tom Hartman, Mary outlined six key signs that have led her to believe her 79-year-old uncle is deteriorating mentally and psychologically.

1. Family history of Alzheimer’s
Mary pointed out that Donald Trump may be genetically predisposed to Alzheimer’s, noting that his father, Fred Trump Sr., suffered from the disease. Mary, a clinical psychologist, explained that her grandfather began showing dementia symptoms around the same age Donald is now, which she believes is significant.

2. Confusing MRI and CT scans
Mary also highlighted a medical scan Trump received in October at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Initially described as "advanced imaging" by the White House, the president later called it an MRI but admitted he didn’t know which part of his body was being scanned. Weeks later, his doctor clarified it was a CT scan. Mary suggested that repeated imaging could indicate doctors are monitoring potential cognitive issues.

3. Repeated cognitive tests
Trump has reportedly taken three cognitive exams, including the MoCA test, which assesses memory, attention, language, and other mental functions. Despite boasting on social media that he "aced" all his tests, Mary argued that repeated assessments often point to concerns about cognitive health.

4. Speech difficulties
Mary noted that Trump has displayed signs of aphasia a condition affecting communication that can result from stroke or brain injury. She cited a recent White House speech where he appeared to slur words and struggle to complete sentences, sparking renewed worry about his mental state.

5. Nodding off during the day
The former president has been seen closing his eyes during meetings, which Mary views as a concerning sign. Trump has attributed this behavior to boredom rather than sleep, but observers remain skeptical.

6. Disorientation
Finally, Mary compared Trump’s behavior to that of her grandfather during his battle with Alzheimer’s, noting moments when he seems unaware of his surroundings or unsure of who he is with. She described this as a particularly troubling indicator of cognitive decline.

Mary concluded that these signs collectively suggest Trump may be experiencing significant physical, psychological, and cognitive deterioration. The former president and his team, however, continue to assert that he remains in "excellent health."
