Kai Trump recently shared a lighthearted moment with her mom, Vanessa, in a Q&A video on her YouTube channel and fans couldn’t help but notice the playful reference to Tiger Woods.
During the video, Kai fired off a series of fun questions at her mom. When she asked the last time Vanessa decorated cookies, her mom casually replied that it was around Christmas maybe even for Valentine’s Day. That’s when Kai jumped in with a teasing, “Is love in the air?”
Vanessa laughed at the cheeky setup and quickly caught on. Smiling, she responded that she wasn’t falling for the trick question. The exchange was brief but clearly showed the close, easygoing dynamic between the two.
Vanessa has been in a relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods for nearly a year. The two reportedly connected through their children, who attend The Benjamin School in Florida, and made their relationship public last March after keeping things private for several months.
Golf, of course, is a big part of Kai’s life as well. She’s set to join the University of Miami in 2026 to play collegiate golf. While Vanessa says she’s not a golfer by trade she was more into tennis she does enjoy the game, especially putting. In fact, she admitted she’s managed to beat Kai at putting on a few occasions.
Kai laughed about those moments, acknowledging that while she performs well in tournaments, her mom somehow sneaks in wins during casual putting sessions.
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods recently celebrated his 50th birthday in December with a major event that also honored the 30th anniversary of his charitable foundation. By all appearances, he and Vanessa remain happy together as they continue balancing family life and public attention.
The video offered a rare, relaxed glimpse into their world and proved that even in high-profile families, playful teasing between mom and daughter never goes out of style.
