Horror author Stephen King expressed shock at the claim that former President Donald Trump allegedly used a derogatory term to refer to Vice President Kamala Harris. King, known for his outspoken criticism of Trump, took to X (formerly Twitter) to seek clarification, hoping someone could debunk the claim that the Republican candidate had used such language against his Democratic opponent.
"Did Trump really call Kamala Harris a b****? Please tell me that's not true," King posted, a message that quickly garnered over 5 million views.
A user responded with, "I hope he did!" to which King replied, "Apparently, he did," expressing his frustration over the situation.
King’s post followed the publication of a New York Times article on August 10, titled "Inside the Worst Three Weeks of Donald Trump's 2024 Campaign." The piece described Trump as being in a bad mood and claimed he had referred to Harris with the derogatory term.
"Indeed, Mr. Trump has often been in a foul mood the past few weeks," the article noted. "He has ranted about Ms. Harris, calling her 'nasty' on 'Fox & Friends' and a 'b****,' repeatedly, in private, according to two sources who overheard the remarks on different occasions."
The Trump campaign, however, denied the allegations. Campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung stated, "That is not language President Trump has used to describe Kamala, and it's not how the campaign would characterize her."
King’s post sparked widespread reactions on X, with users either condemning or defending Trump’s alleged remarks. Some of Trump’s supporters argued he had every right to use such language, with one writing, "He can call her anything he wants, as long as in November, he calls her President Harris." Another commenter remarked, "Of course Trump called Kamala Harris a b****. A bully is always a coward. Donald is the epitome of a bully."
On the other hand, a user criticized those offended by Trump’s alleged comments, pointing to the harsh criticisms Trump has faced over the years: "You people have called him Hitler, a rapist, an extremist, she helped get him arrested, lies about him daily, etc. She is a b****. Go cry." Another user tried to justify the language by citing Harris’s perceived failures, saying, "How would he be wrong if he did? Kamala crashed our economy and abandoned our border. What would you call a person who does that?"
As the 2024 presidential election approaches, Trump and Harris are expected to be major contenders. A recent poll suggested a tight race, with the Electoral College potentially leaning in Harris’s favor.
The Economist’s national forecast model, released last Friday, indicated both Harris and Trump have about a 50% chance of winning the Electoral College, a system that allocates votes based on state populations. To win the presidency, a candidate needs 270 electoral votes.
The forecast predicts a narrow victory for Harris, with 272 electoral votes compared to Trump’s 266.

She gets yelled at for not fixing the border when in reality she has no idea how to fix anything not even her inane laugh, which is her answer to everything it seems. To call her a bitch is insulting to a female dog. A female dog takes her responsibilities very seriously, is loyal, loving and fiercely protective! I have seen none of those traits in Harris. The only semblance she has to a female dog is that she is devoutly obedient to her handlers!
