Cruelty Over Compassion: Donald Trump Jr. Exploits Biden's Cancer Diagnosis to Spread Vile Conspiracies

Donald Trump Jr. shocked many Americans by responding to President Joe Biden’s aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis with a harsh and cruel comment — including a mocking jab at Jill Biden’s academic credentials.

He tweeted, “What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???” referencing a conspiracy theory that Biden’s illness was being hidden.

While much of the country has been uniting to send well wishes and prayers to President Biden, some Republicans seized the moment to spread baseless speculation and take pleasure in his health struggles.

It’s important to note that Jill Biden holds a doctorate in education (a PhD), not a medical degree (MD). When a Twitter user pointed this out, Trump Jr. responded with sarcasm, writing, “I sometimes forget that part of the mental disorder of leftism is an inability to understand sarcasm. So for the confused libs out there, I'm well aware that Jill Biden is a fake doctor, not a real one… Unlike the Dems who were calling for her to be Surgeon General in 2020.”

In short, Donald Trump Jr. used President Biden’s illness as a way to mock Jill Biden’s academic title — a move many would describe as lacking empathy and unnecessarily cruel.

Interestingly, just hours before these harsh comments, Trump Jr. shared a meme wishing President Biden a “speedy recovery” and called for putting “politics aside.” However, once he saw the overall MAGA response growing more hostile, he quickly shifted his tone to align with the harsher rhetoric dominating the right-wing online space.
