Trump threatens to 'annihilate' Iran in 8 minute video as huge strikes spark WW3 fears

Donald Trump has described the recent strikes on Iran as “major combat operations,” warning that the United States will “annihilate” Iranian forces and dismantle its missile program. In an eight-minute video shared on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump confirmed U.S. involvement in the attacks.

He stated: “We are going to destroy their missiles and reduce their missile industry to the ground. It will be completely obliterated. We will annihilate their Navy, prevent the region’s terrorist proxies from destabilizing the area or targeting our forces, and stop the use of IEDs that have killed and wounded thousands, including many Americans. Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon this is a simple message.”

The strikes, carried out in coordination with Israel, hit multiple locations across Iran on Saturday, sending smoke over central Tehran, though the exact targets have not been disclosed. The operation coincides with a significant U.S. deployment of fighter jets and naval vessels aimed at pressuring Iran into negotiations over its nuclear program.

Trump described the effort as a “noble mission,” highlighting the strength of the U.S. military: “I built and rebuilt the military in my first administration. There is no military on Earth that even comes close in power, strength, or sophistication.”

He also emphasized caution regarding American personnel: “We have taken every possible step to reduce risks to our forces. Even so, I do not make this lightly there may be casualties, as often happens in war. But this is not just for today; it is for the future. It is a noble mission.”
